Special edition of the ESEH Notepad about environmental history in Hungary:
Notepad no. 47 August 2013, Environment and History, Vol 19, Nr. 3
The Hungarian group of the ESEH has its own webpage. The site is mainly in Hungarian, but there is a brief overview in English.
As an international organization with members in Hungary and at the Central European University (CEU), the European Society for Environmental History (ESEH) is gravely concerned about the recent bill (T/14686) passed by the Hungarian Parliament on 4 April 2017 that would affect the CEU operations. See the attached file for a full statement of support issued by ESEH President Dolly Jørgensen on behalf of the Societty’s Board (in both English and Hungarian).
The Hungarian historical journal Korall has published a thematic issue on environmental history. See below the cover, table of contents in both English and Hungarian, and the English abstracts.
