The ESEH contributes with small grants to a very limited number of workshops every year that are deserved to be useful to broaden the thematic and geographical scope of environmental history in Europe.
Vasylivskyi Historical-Architectural Museum-Reserve “Popov’s Country Seat”, Ya.Novytskyi Zaporizhia Scientific Society and Historical Department of Zaporizhia National University are pleased to announce a two-day conference in environmental history of underground spaces, which will take place in Vasylivka-Zaporizhia, Ukraine, on 25-26 September 2015.
The deadline for applications is 30 July 2015.
The Institute of History of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow with the support of the European Society for Environmental History and the Polish Historical Society is organizing a conference on the Environmental history of Poland and East-Central Europe from the Middle Ages to the present.
The conference will take place in Polish, but papers in English will be accepted and fully considered.
Paper proposals are due on 15 June 2015.
