New Issue of Ekonomska i Ekohistorija: People and rivers

Vol. III/3 (2007) of Ekonomska i ekohistoria/Economic- and Ecohistory, Scientific Research Journal for Economic and Environmental History (ISSN 1845-5867) is dedicated to the subject "Ljudi i rijeke (vode)" (People and Rivers/Waters). The contributions cover different Croatian and Slovenian rivers (Drava, Krka, Sava) and regions from the early medieval period to 20th century. Topics among others: water mills, rivers as military frontiers, river related urban development, lumbering and floating trade. Articles are published in Croatian language and provide English or German summaries.
