CfP: Colonial Sanitation Workshop

Call for papers
We welcome applications on a wide range of aspects of colonial sanitation. The workshop is relevant to researchers who work on sanitation (sewage, waste, planning, etc.) across the varied colonial world (British, French, German, and more) in the modern era (mainly the 19th-20th centuries).
The deadline to apply is 8 December 2025.
Research abstract (up to 500 words) and short CV (up to 2 pages) should be sent to yaron.j.balslev@uis.no
The international workshop will be held in English, and is organized by Yaron Balslev (University of Stavanger, Norway.
