ESEH Conference 2025 – Climate Histories

The 13th ESEH Conference will be held in Uppsala, Sweden from August 18th – 22nd, 2025.

The next conference will be held with the theme ‘Climate Histories’ in order to synthesize historical research on climate variability with present day lived experience as a means to further discourse and enrich perspectives on climate change. ESEH 2025 has the ambition to initiate collaborations with the arts and the broader public to achieve these aims.
